Our Class Offerings: Painting

Watercolors, oils, and acrylics (adults & teens)
6 week course with Cathy
$150 all supplies included
$100 if you bring your own supplies
Tuesdays 6-8 p.m.
Monday or Friday 12:30-2:30pm
Learn the basic techniques of watercolor, acrylic, or water-based oils and create a painting suitable for framing. Experienced artists are also welcome to attend for assistance with works in progress or to try a new medium.
Instruction will include color theory, mixing colors from the three primaries, choice and proper use of materials, elements of composition, working cratively from photos, as well as matting and framing considerations.
